Terrier Claims Services opened its office in the Capital district in May 2002. Located at 6 Automation Lane, we are minutes from downtown Albany and all of its municipalities including the Secretary of State. Since opening, we have steadily grown and currently employ 19 full-time investigators. We do not subcontract any of our work. Between our White Plains & Albany offices we provide coverage for all 62 counties of NY. Our upstate office covers North of Kingston to the Canadian border, across to Binghamton and the southern tier along the Great Lakes, and west to Buffalo. Our investigators are situated so that we also cover the northern portion of PA and western MA & VT.

John J. O'Shaughnessy has been working with Terrier Claims Services since 1997. In 1998 John was promoted to Supervising Investigator leading a staff of 18 full time investigators dedicated entirely to surveillance and sub rosa activities.
In July 2003, John became the Albany Office Managing Partner covering the entire Upstate New York area. John is a New York State licensed Casualty Adjuster, IA-983125 and has his Insurance Fraud Certification.
Prior to joining Terrier John worked for Cablevision in the Audit Department where he was primarily responsible for conducting field audits and investigating cable theft and fraud.
John graduated from Iona College with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and has received his Masters in Justice Administration from Western Connecticut State University.
John is married and has three children.
