Daniel J Sullivan is co founder and president of Terrier Claims Services. Dan has been a licensed independent adjuster since 1989 (NY State license #IA-T72205, Connecticut license #000985626 & New Jersey Private Investigation license #6636)  Dan also holds a NY State Private Investigator License # 11000116966.

Dan began his career in 1988 at Crawford & Company where he graduated from the Crawford Claims School. In 1989 Dan joined J.J. Fletcher & CO where he became a surveillance expert and handled General Liability Investigations, adjusted multi-lines claims and handled Trial Prep.

In 1996 Dan CO-founded Terrier Claims Services with Edward Sullivan and now acts as CEO heading up the Surveillance and Investigation divisions.

Dan graduated from Concordia College with a degree in Business Administration.

Edward J Sullivan
began his career in 1982 as a carpenter in local 53. Remaining in the construction field, Edward achieved chief estimator and project manager status for Sulco Contracting Corp. Managing projects in both commercial and residential development. During this time Edward completed numerous courses of study in Estimating, mechanical drawing, and methods and materials.

In 1994 Edward joined JJ Fletcher and Company and refocused his sites in the insurance and property adjusting field. Edward has been a licensed and independent adjuster since 1995 (New York state license # IA816132 & New Jersey Private Investigation license #6636)

In 1996 Edward Co-founded Terrier Claims and heads the property division.

 

 
   


John J. O'Shaughnessy
has been working as an investigator at Terrier Claims Services since 1997.  John has been the Supervising Investigator leading a staff of 18 full time investigators dedicated entirely to surveillance and sub rosa activities.

John has been the Albany Office Managing Partner since July 2003, covering the entire Upstate New York area.  He has previously managed the White Plains office surveillance  investigators since 1998.

John is a New York State licensed Casualty Adjuster, IA-983125

Prior to joining Terrier John worked for Cablevision in the Audit Department where he was primarily responsible for conducting field audits and investigating cable theft and fraud.

John graduated from Iona College with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and has received a Masters in Justice Administration from Western Connecticut State University.

Kristan E. DeGrazio, Supervising Investigator

Kristan E. DeGrazio began as an Investigator for Terrier Claims Services in 2001.  

Kristan became the Supervising Investigator in 2003. Her responsibilities include    supervising New York State Insurance Fund investigations, and assisting with the case management of the trial preparation division. Kristan is the recipient of the 2004 Investigator of the Year Award.  

Kristan is a New York State licensed Casaulty Adjuster, IA- 985302 

Prior to joining Terrier, Kristan worked for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office, Dorchester District Court, and the Massachusetts Criminal History Systems Board.

Kristan graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Criminal Justice in 2001.

 
   




 

 

Steven E Lee FCLS, Partner - started the Terrier Claims Services (TCS) New Jersey office in March of 2001.   Staffed with an all-star investigative team, TCS has quickly become the leading Investigation/Surveillance Firm in New Jersey.  Steve has been investigating claims since 1990 and has managed over 40,000 investigations.  Steve brings a wealth of investigative claim knowledge to Terrier. Steve is most known for his numerous Fraud ring and Medical Provider investigations that have saved large and small carriers alike over $300,000,000.

Steve graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelors in Administration of Justice. Served three years in the United States Army as a Military Policeman and was accepted to the FBI surveillance team.



 
   

 

David R. Perini , joined Terrier Claims Services in 1999 managing the day to day operations of the Investigative Division .  Dave has built a skilled team responsible for investigating multiple lines of insurance and coordinating trial preparation activities. Dave is also personally responsible for conducting and supervising investigations for  SIU departments of various insurance carriers.  Prior to joining Terrier, Dave worked as an investigator for the State of New Jersey in the Division of Consumer Affairs, Office of Consumer Protection and the Division of Criminal Justice, Office of the Insurance Fraud Prosecutor.  During his tenure with the State of New Jersey, Dave completed numerous courses at the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice Academy and with the Attorney General’s Office training program. 

Dave graduated from Pace University in May of 1996 receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice.  He is a licensed New York State Casualty Adjuster, license number IA-1024520.

 

 

Jason J. Gudaitis, FCLS, Director of Operations

 

 

 

Michael Brittman began career as an undercover store detective in a major department store. In 1987, began working for J.L Danton, a regional insurance adjusting and investigation company. Began as a field investigator and worked his way up to Director of Operations. He specialized in surveillance, GL investigations as well as Landlord/ Tenant cases.   

In 1998-2002 worked for A.C. Roman and Associates, as their Director of Operations, handling investigations in NY, NJ, Pa, Ct, Texas, Florida and California. A.C. Roman was the acting SIU for a major carrier and Mike acted as the SIU liason, travelling throughout the country providing training seminars to the claims staff. 

 From March of 2002 to the present Mike has been working for Terrier as the Director of Operations and is responsible for the supervision of all surveillance and undercover assignments.     

 Mike is a licensed NY State Casualty Adjuster, License # 1A-988377. He has 2 daughters and lives in Lynbrook. 

 

 

 

 

 Theresa came to Terrier Claims Services in October of 2005.  She has obtained 15 years Insurance Claims experience while working at General Motors Ins. Co. and Liberty Mutual Insurance Company.  Beyond her claims experience, Theresa has also attended various fraud and SIU seminars, as well as the AIC 33 Course.  As Office Manager, Theresa is our contact person for new assignments and supervises the Clerical and Billing Departments.

Ryana Dorcey started her Investigative Career in 2000 as a Field Investigator for a national investigative company.  She then joined the background department and sales department. Ryana rejoined the background department as the Assistant Manager where she continued to carry a full case load and assisted in managing six Investigators.  Ryana joined Terrier Claims Services in the summer of 2004 as a Field Investigator and will be assisting the managing our Boston Office.  Ryana Graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1999 with a degree Criminal Justice and currently holds a "C" Investigators license in Florida

Jason J. Gudaitis assisted in opening our New Jersey Terrier Claims Services (TCS) office in 2001.  He began his career in the industry as a trainee in 1996.  Through his strong performance he was promoted to the position of Director of Operations.  He currently manages a strong and skilled team of investigators in both surveillance and claims investigations. 

 Jason graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Minor in Law and Justice.  He then received his Fraud Claims Law Specialist certification from the American Educational Institute in 2001.

Barbara has been the Office Manager of    the New Jersey Office (TCS) since the start of her employment there in 2002. 

Barbara began her career in the investigative field approximately eight years ago as a typist, later transferring to the SIU Department as an In-House Investigator. 

 Her background experience includes managing and organizing professionals and departments in corporations, both large and small. 

 Barbara’s strong organizational skills and investigative experience have been reflected in the smooth operation of TCS and its staff.  Barbara is the recipient of 2004 New Jersey TCS Employee of the Year award.

John Brambaugh came to Terrier in May of 2004 and has over five years of experience in the Industry.  He started in the Investigative field working for a National Company.  He worked his way up to a Field Supervisor and then to an Assistant Manager.  He trained new investigators and supervised the Northeast Region.  He became an in-house Assistant Manager and aided in preliminary Investigation, scheduling, and supervising field investigators.  He  also served three years in the Army with the  3rd Ranger Battalion and graduated from Ranger School.  John graduated from Florida State University in 1999 with a Degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology.  John will be assisting in operating and managing of Terrier's Boston Office.

Terrier Claims welcomes the addition of our most recent member of our management team, Ron Hilton. Ron began with Terrier Claims Services as a field investigator, covering Northern and Western New York.  As a Field Supervisor, Ron manages the investigations assigned to our Albany office, as well as his many duties as a public relations specialist.  

After serving honorably in the United States Air Force, Ron completed his education from State of New York University at Oswego, with a B.A. in communications. Ron came to Terrier after several years working in the insurance industry, as both a no – fault adjuster, and Investigator.
